A downloadable mod

Demons invaded your city, so you took up arms and decided to show them what for. Lock and load.

Well, I done did another mod again. This one features largely contemporary guns, with a slight tacticool twist and some conformities done to better fit various WADs.

I also tried pretty hard to have better weapon animations, so here's hoping that pays off.

Additionally, this mod was initially made for We Have Doom at Home, a small community project where participants submitted 2048x2048 house-themed maps. Give that a try!

WEAPONS

1zsL1q1.png Slot 1: Axe

A sturdy fireaxe, great for hacking all sorts of monsters apart.

9A1JabD.png Slot 2: Burst Pistol

A pistol with a progressive trigger. Tapping will fire individual shots, holding will fire in 3 round bursts. Generally useful across a wide amount of scenarios.

uPhwHVU.png Slot 3A: Pump-action Shotgun

It's a shotgun. It hits a little harder, is a bit more accurate and a bit faster too. What else do you need?

sS1qsbn.png Slot 3B: Super Shotgun

Same damage profile and spread, it's just a bit faster than usual. Can't improve on perfection!

JgZjCLU.png Slot 4: Submachine Gun

A speedy little SMG that chews through bad guys as fast as it chews through ammo. There's no tapfire bonus here, use the pistol for that instead.

 HDWNspC.png Slot 5: Triple Launcher

Tiny but fierce grenade launcher. Shoots 3 small grenades in a quick burst, each dealing less damage than usual but adding up they are more powerful than regular rockets. Reloads after every burst to balance things out a little.

dqBuk38.png Slot 6: Heavy flamethrower

Your BFG replacement. Effortlessly makes short work of anything you point it, not even bosses can stand up to it for long!  You'll also find it in both plasma rifle and BFG spots.

x2QXJIT.png Slot 7: Sniper rifle

An old surplus bolt-action rifle. One shots anything below a hellknight and can two-shot most of the monsters you'll see, it just costs a lot to use. It can also pierce a few monsters, since it shoots 4 pellets with perfect accuracy.

IMPORTANT: Do note there's no actual chainsaw, as its spot is used to spawn the sniper rifle instead. Cheating will give you another, identical axe.

The WAD shown in the screenshots is Nostalgia.
